Log into your account and select Mid-Ohio Market at HEART event to volunteer for a shift. Please note that we are keeping the jobs listed on VolunteerHub simple. You will be assigned to be one of the below mentioned jobs under Level II Procedures:

MARKET ASSISTANT ASSIGNMENTS
All volunteers will wear gloves at all times while at the market
(1) Push carts through the market as they are packed;
(2) Deliver packed cart to the neighbors;
(3) Receive carts back from the neighbors at the front door.
Runners will take the filled carts to the end of our sidewalk. The carts will be identified as vegetable, (green) or meat (red). Neighbors will be able to choose what works best for their family
Food Station Volunteers
Stationed at produce/dairy, meat, section I and section II, bakery.
Only Food Station Volunteers will place food in the carts.
Transport and place food on shelves to restock shelves, refrigerators and freezers.
Monitor parking lot flow throughout the parking lot.
Neighbors will be required to stay in line.
First stop, Check-In
Second stop, neighbors drive to the food pick-up station.
Neighbors select a green cart (no meat) or a red cart (with meat)
Neighbor takes cart to car, unloads cart, returns cart to Cart Sanitizer
Only one person exits their car and loads food into their car.
After loading food, Car exits to E. Main Street, turning right (eastbound)
Sanitize the cart before it heads back through the market
Pantry Trak Check-In Attendant (checks in Neighbors /Customers)
At check in station, volunteer scans Mid-Ohio card while driver holds the card.
There will be new neighbors without a card. We will serve all, neighbors with a card and new neighbors. Check-In volunteer asks the neighbor to verify their information and the volunteer enters the neighbor’s initials on the computer.
Food pickups will continue as scheduled to pick up food from local grocery and businesses
Prep and Stockers
Volunteers working behind the scenes who don't mind getting a little dirty as we unload and process donations, inspect food and stock shelves.

PARKING: When you arrive
Use the former CASH MAX entrance to enter.
Cars will Enter and Exit from the right hand lane of eastbound E. Main St.
To facilitate Main Street traffic flow, THERE IS NO LEFT-HAND TURN ENTERING OR EXITING 6475 E. MAIN ST.
Volunteer parking is free and located behind (west side) of the Market. Please DO NOT park in front of other businesses.
Always enter and exit through the green door with keypad. Ring the doorbell, if you don't have the key-code. Check in at the Volunteer Station computer located in the volunteer lounge. We provide free lockers to secure your personal belongings. Don't forget to take your personal belongings and leave the key fore the locker at the end of your shift. Any items left behind and not picked up after 5 days will be donated.
16 years of age and older are welcome.
